Get Involved with University Clubs and Societies

The Refresher’s Fayre will be held on the 26th of January at the Students Union sports hall. Find out about the different types of clubs and societies in the university and how you can get involved.

Your time at university is not only about academics but also about getting involved with other things you’re interested in (other than academics). You will surely find a club or society you could get involved in.

There are more than 30 sports; from boxing to swimming and snow sports, hockey and horse-riding and even women’s rugby and Wutang kung fu and kickboxing, you will be spoiled for choice.

Some of the societies include; African students, Aerospace, street dancing, first aid, geography, film, UNICEF, the Source Radio and the Source Newspaper and more.
