DAILY TELEGRAPH sports columnist Jim White and Coventry University’s sports marketing expert, Professor Simon Chadwick, are to give talks about the rise and fall of Tiger Woods.
Over the past few months, the golfing legend has been making the news for all the wrong reasons, however with wife Elin Nordegren calling off plans to divorce the golfer and the likelihood of Tiger playing at the Masters seeming more and more probable, are thing starting to look up?
On Thursday 28 January at 1pm, Jim White will be speaking about the phenomenon that is Tiger Woods and the pressure put on modern sportsmen when they live their lives in the public eye.
On Friday 29 January at 1pm Professor Simon Chadwick, the Director of the Centre for the International Business of Sport (CIBS) will be speaking about Tiger Woods’ dramatic fall from grace and the effect it has had on the multi-million dollar Tiger brand.
The talks take place in the Ellen Terry Building, Jordan Well, Room ETG 34 and are free and open to the public.
