EAMONN MATTHEWS is a critically acclaimed programme maker and executive producer whose works are hailed as much for their journalism as their style will be speaking at Coventry Conversations on the 8th of October about demanding journalism.
As Managing Director of Quicksilver Media Matthews has led various succesful film projects such as Beslan, Invading Iraq, he’s won a Bafta, an RTS and helped shape Unreported World into one of Channel 4’s most acclaimed programme series.
The company focuses on producing documentaries from the worlds most difficult and demanding places and strives to produce quality factual current affairs programs for television broadcasters.
Matthews will be talking about his various films in a Coventry Conversation entitled “documentaries from tough places”. Sharing stories and advice that have shaped his career.
