THIS WEEK two of the main Degree show events will demonstrate the innovative work of final year Art and Design students work.
The Media festival takes place on the 28th and 29th of May in The Ellen Terry building and will be displaying various media-related work including film, radio and photography work.
The Design degree show begins on the 30th and will be on display until the 4th of June in The Graham Sutherland and Maurice Frost buildings. The show includes work from the; Automotive Design, Design and Visual Arts departments and gives the opportunity for the public to see the radical new work from award winning students.
Some of the highlights of the show will include the high performance zero emissions sports car, the Bowler Raptor a two-seater sports buggy and wind-powered super yachts.
On the 4th of June the Graduate Fashion show will round up the summer series of Degree work. Which will include catwalk shows and garments from award winning designer Kevin Geddes.
