THIS SUMMER, thanks to sponsorship from the Higgs charity, the Coventry school of Art and Design is offering free taster courses to the general public in areas like; Television, Photography and Fashion.
Ever fancied being an artist? Making a TV programme? Taking an award-winning photo? Being an actor, a musician or a dancer? Yes? Then you’re in the right place
Award winning photographer may be a little optimistic but the courses will utilize the department’s state of the art equipment and highly qualified staff.
There are 4 weeks of Saturday morning classes from the 20th of June. They are open to anyone over 15 years of age and you will receive a certificate of attendance to add to your CV or just to sit on your mantlepiece.
This scheme joins a host of others that demonstrate how Coventry University is helping local individuals and businesses through tough economic times.
Last month Coventry University was successful in a bid for a share of £50 million to support the local community in various market sectors and there are further plans to develop the relationship between the University and the City over the following months.
