NIB: Students’ work to be installed at Volvo’s UK HQ

THREE FINALISTS of an art competition set up by Coventry University’s School of Art and Design (CSAD) in conjunction with Volvo Group UK Limited and David Wood Art, are seeing their art installed at Volvo’s headquarters in Warwick. 

More...Volvo LogoThe brief of this competition was to design an appropriate artefact for both Volvo Truck and Volvo Bus to be sited in the building at Warwick, taking into account the specific surroundings.  The final decision on who would have the chance to present their work to Göran Nyberg, Managing Director of Volvo Group UK Limited.

Imogen Aust, Course Director for the Applied Arts CSAD, who helped to organise this competition said that she thinks it has been hugely beneficial for the students.

Aust said: “The work they have produced is of a high standard and demonstrates their professionalism and commitment.  They are all ambitious students who have taken up the challenge and worked extremely hard to achieve their goals.”
